Good evening.
I can't wait for the genting trip. But seriously, i'm not THAT excited. I've only been to genting once and i can't remember anything, except for the place we stayed, plus the fogs? clouds? mist? Up till today, i still dont know.
Yes, it was THAT long ago.
Therefore, i have no idea what the trip would be like.
Today, i bought my top for the concert with shermaine and weiyang, finally. hoho. I really hope the concert will make the audiences happy. I dont want it to be like the esplanade concert... oh well.
I better work hard on my solo. I hope i'm loud enough. I hope zat won't get angry with the music. I hope the band will become VERY GOOD players. I hope they will work hard, which obviously they aren't.
How can i make my section work harder..
Sam: How can i make sam push more! HOW? She thinks its the most she can push, when i believe she's not pushing at all. She's worried about her little 'solo' zat asked her to play for omi. How can i help her. She's weak in reading notes, rhythm, tongueing, etc. Hmm. headache.. Sam, please work on all these areas. ALSO, WATCH YOUR POSTURE
Zul: How can i help zul. Zul, you have to work on your tone! Dont push too much. This implies to intan too. Zul work on your tongueing too. Finger coordination too! Don't overblow. Don't keep playing non-stop. You must also rest your lips at time.
Chengtat: Dont worry. I'll get you a FIRST clar part for the march concert.(: You must prac your rhythm a bit!
Sherina: you are getting better. Everyone thinks so. So, don't be so worried about having to play first clar. You can do it. But of cos, don't think you're good enough. You still have to continue practising hard! Eh, also, LEARN HOW TO READ NOTES FASTER. (this implies to EVERYONE) Improve your sight reading.
Nicholas: You have to work on your tongueing. You already have a nice tone. But you still have to practise! I dont see you practising! Work on your trills too for kawano. I can HEAR the KEYS moving. P.S. DONT SLOUCH! Sit straight. When the chair is facing north, your body will be sitting in the north-east direction. (this is just an example)
Priscilla: Work on your tone! Do long tones. Push more air! practise tongueing. You have to push more air cos you're soft, and i bet you take some time to get a note out sometimes. Play with sherina, nich, jane, or anyone with a nice tone. Try and copy their tones! Get a thick, warm and dark tone.
Jane: Work on high notes, around the high F and above! Tongueing too. Hmm. and probably the coordination of your fingers too. Use the clarinet schoolbook. Other than those i think you're alright.
Hye Min: Aiyo. Why suddenly become so soft ah.. Watch your posture la! Don't slouch! Work on tongueing. Also, dont forget to work on your higher notes.
Jing Jie: POSTURE! lol. Also, work on your tongueing ar. Your tongue is very weak. Your tone is alright, but can be better! Practise your SCALES and CHROMATS!
Syahida: You are soft. Push more! work on your higher notes too! Tongueing too! hmm.. and your finger coordination. Remember to keep your fingers close to the keys when not in use. Use clarinet schoolbook.
Intan: Don't overblow! This is very important. Cos you got LOTS of air! Work on your tongueing. Learn how to read notes faster. You can use SBT or Clarinet schoolbook. Work on finger coordination too in clarinet schoolbook.
Ian: Please number your bars! PRACTISE TOO. I NEVER SEE YOU PRACTISING (: Work on your rhythm!
Singru: LOL. You're okay. But i dont see your practising. If you can, practise the exercises in sbt.
Of course, not all of them will read my blog.. But if they do, at least it'll help, i hope. (: I wonder why i'm typed all these out..
